As Lead UX Designer at ColigoMed, I was responsible for the end-to-end design of mobile apps and a web dashboard, for both patients and doctors.

A smart healthcare system that helps patients stay on top of their health and enables doctors to work more efficiently and deliver better care.

Today's healthcare challenges can’t be solved with isolated solutions alone.

We’ve all experienced or witnessed the human cost of a disconnected healthcare system. Your physician’s office is too busy to take your call. Or worse, there’s a fatal misdiagnosis because a doctor can’t see a loved one’s full medical history.

Multifaceted Problems

Healthcare problems often involve physical, mental, and social factors. For example, chronic diseases like diabetes are linked to lifestyle, environment, and socioeconomics, not just medical issues.

Fragmentation of Care

Patients often see multiple specialists, leading to disjointed care. Isolated solutions fail to address how these care silos interact, resulting in inefficiencies, errors, or gaps.

Lack of Integrations

Modern healthcare prioritizes personalized care that adapts to a patient's unique needs and preferences. This requires coordination across disciplines and systems.

42% of population in the USA has more than 2 chronic conditions

90% of healthcare costs — $3.8 T are based by chronic conditions

ColigoMed's founders, Naidu and Srividya, assembled a global team of 35 key members, including advisors, doctors, engineers, and designers from the USA, Vietnam, Romania, and India.

I started as the only designer on this project and, over three years, built a team of three more designers. I led the team while staying involved in all design work and been accountable for all design decisions and deliverables.

The problems were zeroed in based on various interviews and brainstorming sessions with doctors, care providers, patients and engineers spread throughout the various states of USA and India.

The product team identified problems that matched their expertise, time, and budget, prioritizing solutions that helped to address both user and business needs.
